| History of the PPP
It all started
Years ago, a dentist looking to protect his practice
would have to purchase several different policies, perhaps from
several agents - a time consuming and often expensive endeavor.
The solution arrived in 1969: The Professional Protector Plan®
for Dentists. The PPP was the first fully integrated insurance program
for dentists. It combined professional
liability, general
liability, property
protection and workers'
compensation insurance into one package product. This
integrated package reduced dangerous coverage gaps and expensive
coverage overlaps.
Go to the source
Designed by dentists for dentists, the PPP is continuously
re-examined and enhanced to address
the unique concerns of the dental profession. Our National
Advisory Board - consisting of five prominent practicing
dentists - plays an integral role in our continued development of
the program. Endorsed by many state and local dental societies,
the PPP insures more dentists than any other dental practice protection
program in the country.
The local advantage
The PPP is available in 49 states, the District of Columbia,
Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is marketed locally
by exclusive agents, or State
Administrators, chosen for their expertise and
their commitment to your practice needs. These insurance professionals
bring your concerns and needs to us regularly through Advisory
Boards consisting of six of our State Administrators.
Quality partners
The underwriting companies who partner with the PPP are chosen
for their experience and expertise in this field. Combining
unparalleled claims
handling with unique, innovative
risk management programs, your practice
and your reputation are given top priority.
The bottom line
We are the original. Many attempt to copy our formula for
success, but after nearly 40 years, only one remains the
largest practice protection program for dentists: the PPP.
